  • A new addition to the fleet

It would appear that only 28 Streetwise GSi diesels were ever registered in the UK, and within that figure there was a mix of 3 and 5 doors plus a choice of 4 body colours.

'The other half' is extremely pleased with her new toy

Very Nice. Interesting seat fabric , but the whole colour/trim combination works very well indeed. A snazzy little car! Does it have the rear bucket seats or a normal bench seat?

I always admired the Streetwise. I thought it was a great idea, considering how old the basic car was when it came out, and it really look the part. I'm not a huge fan of R3's but if I were to have one of my own...

I'd like one with the optional grilles for the front and rear lights and the steel wheels with black hub caps a la Maestro! Unfortunately 99.9% of Streetwises have alloy wheels...

T already has a shopping list!

It includes the light grilles, sill extensions, genuine floor mats, tailpipe trim etc. And the bucket rear seat.

Most is available from various sources, but the seat is likely to be quite a challenge (note to self: must see if any '05 Streetwises are on Copart!) Wouldn't completely rule out buying another car to swap some bits over

Some choice tuning mods and they return very impressive power figures too for little money.

Loved the Streetwise, funnily enough except for the bucket rear seat. Much prefer the bench (which was an extra cost option), and I agree, the steel wheels looked good. I have a brochure somewhere - it was an annoying folded one.
