I was initially confused by your request when I first read it, thinking you were after the Rover Cars workshop overalls rather than the racing suit. Those racing suits were part of the RoverSport official merchandise range for which I have a catalogue.

I have no idea where you can buy them although one suggestion might be to put up a 'Wanted 'notice when attending various car shows, particularly at BL Day. Alternatively, you could place a similar 'Wanted' notice in a publication such as Classic Car Weekly, which is free.

Regarding the burgundy Rover Cars workshop overalls, there are examples that do crop up occasionally at some of the larger car shows held indoors, usually on stands which specialise in selling overalls for most marques. I used to see such a trader at the Footman James Bristol Classic Car Show held at the bath & West Showground in Somerset.

There's a stallholder who is always at the Classic Car Show at the NEC in November who sells nothing but overalls and workshop jackets, for nearly all marques - current and obsolete.

Naturally, sizes suitable for 'normal' sized people are the hardest to come across!

Well a racing suit would be preferred but a set of overalls would be good also. Could you scan the brochure for the Racing Suit + any Metro related bits in there also?

        Thanks

Okay, I will see if I can find it and scan off the image/s and text for you. Can you let me have an email address where I can send it to?
