    The Heater blower dosent work on my Rover 100
    no responce from the switch.Its not the fuse so how do you test the blower or what else could it be.

    Switch - worn out contacts
    Motor - worn brushes, replace brushes. Occasionally new motors turn up, attached to new heater side cases
    Thermal cut out (the so-called and wrongly named "otterstat") - corroded, clean with fine emery/wet & dry
    Resistor coils broken. You can access that part from under the bonnet AFAIK so access is much easier than on Maestro/Montego, where the dash has to come out.

      Thanks Simon .I had noticed that its easeyer to get at I will have a look at it when i recieve my Haynes manual in the post.
