if you are trade and are trying to shift a car it seems very odd that there's no details - diesel? petrol? 260? colour? options? - so I guess most readers will just think 'Oh another of those random weirdo posts that forums seem to be full of these days' and pass on.....

Details of the car in question are in the weblink
      It's a 120 petrol in Starlight Silver.
It's just a form of direct marketing: you'll probably find they're putting the same text on every forum they think will have interested members.
      Very interesting car though.

          THANKS GUYS

The car in question is in the link and is unused and still has the factory scent inside the cabin. Th car has up-graded alloy wheels and has all the usual MG-ZT Toys and also a CD payer etc, front fog lamps and in metalic paint.

The car has less than 25 miles on the clock (delivery miles) and so one lucky winner will be handed the ignition keys once the draw has been done. I wish you guys the best of luck.

there is the link to participate and have a delivery miles MG-ZT SPORTS CAR.

its a 120 so a n/a 1.8 k series, not a very quick or popular model, which is why its still left. 1.8 turbos were my favirte lots of go and lots of torque and didnt use much fuel. They should havedone a MG ZS turbo would have sold well

              You're right, the ZT120 is a slouch, a sheep in wolf's clothing.

A ZS 160 whilst a good idea in principle, would in practice: have been too close to the 180 for comfort.

yes but with a 160 MG could have put the 190 engine in, but hey ho like Land Rover with the MPI discovery they only used the n/a engine with its 136bhp. They had protypes with the 197bhp turbo but with the 3.9 v8 pushing out the same they chose not to bother

It's funny you mention the T series in the Discovery, a girl I used to work with said she had a 2 litre Discovery MPti (IIRC), which went (and I quote) "like s**t off of a shovel", in fact she sold it because it was a little too fast for her and her kids and got a Zafira instead... Did the aforementioned prototypes make it out into the "wild"?

Ive read somewhere that these were next to useless off road,as would the turbo version have been, all the torque is at the top end. The origanal V8 land rovers were less than 100BHP but had stump pulling torque which is why they were quite popular (well with oil field owners!)

                      GENTS & LADIES

The tickets for this delivery miles car are going quite well..If the power worries you then buy a turbo unit if/when ever you take a chance of joining in the "CHANCE" of winning a Delivery mileage only MG-ZT sports car.

There are not too many new MGR products around now unused,
We wish you the best of luck.

My first ZTT was a trophy blue 120 on a 53 plate. A fantastic car except for the power! You had to really wind up the revs to get it to shift off the mark, so I just used to cruise sedately! On the motorway the car came into it's own however and was a great motorway cruiser with reasonable pulling power. The 120 was aimed at the fleet market and was built for motorway cruising. My current ZTT, is the 160 turbo ( itself a relatively late registered car on a 56 plate, which even now has only covered 22000 miles) and is also a great car but with a bit more kick. It has plenty of low down torque ( max at 2500rpm I think) so is great in the mid ranges for acceleration. Beauty of the 160 turbo is that you don't have to wind it up. My car rarely see's 4500rpm and from what I know it's the high revs that can cause the head gasket to fail! As well as not checking your coolant regularly! However, if you're happy to cruise in what looks like a fast car, the 120 is for you. I'd consider another, purely as a comfy sporty looking day to day family car and motorway muncher! With the bonus of cheap insurance! ( My 160 turned out to be £200 more expensive!) Best bet all round is the diesel ( BMW power!)

I can assure you in a maestro it does! I can't imagine it to be that happy carrying more than twice the weight of the maestro though!

1600 tickets at £10 each works out at £16,000 which is what they cost new from MG Rover.

As an aside, I have been looking at the VED rates for these, which are set to rise this year for the higher band cars. The 120 is a Group I which is set to go up from £175 to £200 a year. The 160 Turbo and 190 V6 will be £235 and £245 each Only the diesel remains reasonable at £155.

SMG Rover in Bristol have a number of delivery mileage MG ZTs on 08-plates (120, 116, 135 and 190) : http://users.autoexposure.co.uk/sear...=Any&Trans=Any

They are on 08-plates because the DVLA insist that cars are registered within three years of being manufactured or imported. I think the EURO-4 compliance is a coincidence.
