If you use a scroll-wheel mouse press Ctrl + scroll up and down. You've probably done this by accident...

I've never seen one either.........is your turntable a BSR multi-changer?
I've a couple of those, one is wrecked though from allowing heavy 78 records to fall from the spindle.

                    No it's a Goldring Lenco GL75 with fully variable speed-control from 10-80rpm but with adjustable click stops at 16, 33, 45 & 78. It's about 35 years old.

Computerwise up in the loft I have a Spectrum +3 and Amiga 1200. Funny how it took Windoze 98 to catch up with what Amiga Workbench was doing 13 years earlier. In some ways it's still not got there.

That's quite a collection Maria, a friend of mine had a Vic 20, but I only had the 48k spectrum, which is still in the cupboard together with several games: Hungry Horace, Manic miner etc.

I'm intrigued by your fully variable speed record player G51NAV.
Is it a domestic machine, or designed that way for professional use?

                        oo0h Amigas!!!

although my first computer was the rubber key speccy 48k, and then speccy 48k+ with black plastic case, i soon moved to amigas way back in 1987..

I have the following Amiga's in my bedroom...

                        A600, A600HD, another A600HD, yet another A600HD
                        Amiga International A1200
                        CBM Amiga 1200
                        CBM Amiga 1200 (in a tower, with a 68030@50Mhz, FPU, 32MB FAST, 20GB Maxtor as DH0 DH1 DH2 DH3 DH4, CDRW, and kingston PCMCIA Ethernet, 14" Monitor, Scandoubler
                        Amiga 500 (512k FAST, 512K MASH)
                        Amiga 500+ (with 2mb CHIP)

another example of my obsessive nature i think..... wish i had as many maestro's though!

(and incidentally, if anyone fancies parting with an Amiga or two, just let me know, as i'm after the following Amigas:

                        CDTV
CD32 with FMV module (used to have one, but sadly lost it)
                        A1000
                        A1500
                        A2000
                        A2500T
                        A2500UX
                        A3000
                        A3000T
                        A4000/030
                        A4000/040
                        A4000T (the CBM one)
                        A4000T (the Amiga International one!)

obviously i'll have to stop spending money on cars first though

HOW TRUE! i still access the internet using my Amiga 1200 from time to time, but currently i'm watching this thing called AROS very closely...

                          www.aros.org

it's an open-source Amiga-like operating system being made for many different forms of hardware, and the pc version is coming on nicely

i look forward to ditching windows again completely! if only i could get the music software i needed on AROS or Amiga/PPC.

                            Oooh Manic Miner!

We've still got the old Spectrum upstairs somewhere, we used to load Manic Miner with a 'POKE' that someone gave us, giving 33 lives instead of 3! Made it much more fun. Does that sound like I know what I'm talking about? Cos if so, it lies!

Wonder if it still works? Might get it out and plug it in one day - tho I wonder if I can still remember how to cope with that awful keyboard, or rather, keypad! I bought the Spectrum at the time cos I thought my kids should have access to a home computer and it must have been a good idea cos one of them is a programmer now!

If it's a rubber key Speccy, it's worth a bit of money! I've seen empty boxes on fleabay go for silly money!!! So if it's boxed as well

Just out of interest there were at least 36,070 games released for the Speccy and roughly 15,000 for the C64. Just shows how popular the Speecy was, even though the C64, in my opinion, was far superior.

                              Dean.
