Odd Message/Spam ?

I recieved an email message saying it came from this club telling me to log in as I had recieved a new pm from Patricia when I logged in there was no new pm
Has anyone else had this happen

"Patricia" is a Buddhist in the US and spent all last night and all this morning sending each of us PMs one by one about Buddhism.

Much as I admire her commitment it's against the rules here, so the account and the messages were removed. Unfortunately if you get email notifications we can't recall them, which is why it might have looked a bit odd.

I didn't get it either because I don't get the e-mails notifying me of PMs. So by the time I logged in, it had already been deleted by admin.
