Bought this back in Feb off gumtree for £200. 1275 Mayfair with less than 27000 on the clock.


It's a bit frilly round the edges




Got some newish wings and front valance off eBay and bolted them on



I've put around 1500 miles on it and really can't fault it other than some minor issues. Some water ingress to the driver footwell and the boot and it likes the choke more than I think it should. Could do with a new thermostat too I think as it runs cold. Just need a pair of rear arches to finish tidying it up.

Hello & welcome though who told you it was a Mayfair? Mayfair models were from C reg to F reg - IIRC. They also had the moulded bumpers.

becarefull doing the thermostat as the bolts can be a trouble removeing them as they tend to rust to the housing of the thermostat and snap off.
