i'm not the most informed guy on here but it sounds like i have the same type of thing Norm, mines a 99, T-reg 500 van fitted with the 1.3 engine and kph speedo and lhd carpet etc, i have read these were bought in kit form and built by a company/chap in Ledbury.
surprisingly mine too has survived really well, remarkable when you consider it was stood on a farm for 7 years
i do plan to get her on the road as soon as time allows (maybe over the winter)

Norm, your car sounds like a classic Ledbury car.

Semi knock down kit cars destined for export to bulgaria but they never went. A firm built the kits in Ledbury (hence the name) and then sold them off. Available in dark blue, white and red.

They made 600 or so Ledbury Maestros, a very small proportion were vans. Although i am not sure on the exact amount, maybe someone can enlighten me.

You're right about them not showing up on howmanyleft.com

They are registered under all manner of names, i think E_T_V's Ledbury van on an S plate is registered as a 'JET'

reading the new posts pages over time i think the vans are more at risk of being scraped as they seem to rust more quickly maybe due to being a commercial vehicle and less looked after.i cannot remember seeing a van for a few years here in brum.i did see a ledbury van about 2002 but its been years since i seen that one
