elrctric windows on van

hi there
electic windows were working then they stopped
then the van was sitting for a while wouldnt start got it going
the widows started working now the left side is still down the right side is up ive got power in switches fuses tested with tester
the electric mirrors work but when engine is on it blows the fuse
now its raining joy
any help welcome

Try slamming the door whilst holding the switch in the up position. If this works the motors want a good clean out or replacing.

hi there
tried slamming the door nothing
left the van for a couple of days and the drivers side started to work but not the passengers then i had some lovley smoke coming out of the drivers mirror (a few blows and it went out)
turned off egnition now nothing i will take off mirror tomorrow have a look and will remove the motor for the n/s window out
if this is possible as to clean it ?????????
