Maestro turbo springs

Ladies and Gents,

I need some front springs for the van project (and possibly some for the turbo)

Does anyone know the spring rates?

Are they the same as the montego turbo. Indeed are the springs the same as the montego turbo for the maestro turbo?

Need this info by tomorrow night if possible.

Could be wrong but I'm pretty certain the fronts at least were the same as the montego turbo

if the part nos are the same then they will be identical - do you have access to Legacy EPC?

I don't think the legacy EPC covers maestro turbo, (just the montego one).

The spring maker has monty turbo 1 and 1.5inch drops on file. Will these fit/suit the maestro though?

Same engine with no really weight difference between the two cars so yes I would say it would be fine. :-)

That was what I was thinking too. I think motobuild only do one set to cover both models too. I'll order them then

Anyone after a set of maestro/montego turbo springs? I'm ordering some sets so if anyone wants some then let me know.

Drops are advertised as 1 inch and 1.5 inch.

I have the Maestro turbo part supplment bulletin it lists only those item which are differnt from that of the same age Montego turbo. The springs would seem to be the same but the dampers are different.

Montego turbo dampers are GSA4515 for fronts and GSA2104 for rears
Maestro turbo dampers are GSA2095 for fronts and GSA2069 for rears

Non of the above numbers are coming up as available though

All i can say is 345 has Montego Turbo front struts and springs and the ride height is the same and handling is exactly the same as the old original struts and springs..
