Rear doors stuck

Just started work on a Maestro which has stood for 12 years. The rear doors wont open. Cant raise the buttons. Any suggestions? (Polite ones!)

you can remove the door card, awkward but it can be
done as I have managed it. You can the either spray the
whole mehanism or use a screw driver to force the door
lock to move. I would use wd 40 on the lock and remove
the rust rather than use brute force in case you cause damage

Thanks. I have tried to spray WD40 in. I guess I'll have to try the door cards carefully.

I had the same with my daughters R100 - sheer brute force with a pair of pump pliers on the pins released the mechanisum - try to protect the pins from damage.
