Hi, can anyone help? My Maestro Turbo starts and runs ok but starts to misfire at 3000 revs. When it gets past that it runs and accelerates fine. I thought it might be the carb but swapped that and the problem is still there. Any ideas?

Things to check:
Balance pipe on the carb - tiny splits can cause issues
Rotor arm spinning in the bush means it isn't in the right position so the gap is too big to jump
Rotor arm itself - 3k is about where the turbo spools so where the igntion system is worked hardest.www.maestroturbo.org.uk - The Tickford Maestro Turbo Register
