    I checked the fuses and they are all okay.

    Does anyone know where the relays are located on the early cars with the multi-part dash?

      You can try swapping them about to prove if one is faulty (the faulty item will move when you move the relay). They are all the same from memory. If the fault moves then a standard auto relay can be swapped in. I've got about a million of them in my garage for some unknown reason!

          On the later dash they are helpfully in the fusebox under the steering wheel. On the earlier dash I'm afraid I've had a complete memory failure - It may well be on the glovebox roof but I'm not 100% sure.
