I've not had it on a decent run yet because it has been stood for 12 years every time I try to test it it ends up being towed home as something else has packed in
saying that I've already had my money's worth out of the new tow rope I've had to buy
the joys of the days when you needed prayers fingers crossed and held breath to get you to the seaside without breaking down

If it is a turbo then swap out the carb balance pipe (The short length of fuel hose that runs from the side of the carb to the inlet manifold. It frequently perishes causing all sorts of running problems but primarily lack of fuel when on boost which is never good).
