His I returning after some years away from the forum, apologies.
I have a query around a missing hose from the back of my throttle body on my MG EFI 1987. It would appear to be a vacuum hose, but for the life of me I have no idea where it should go to. I was fettling in the engine bay and found the remnant of a hose approx 1/4" left attached to the back of the throttle body but I'm at a loss as to what needs replacing and to where. Any advice would be very much appreciated. I haven't noticed any performance issue, so actually wondered if it matters. The car was MOT' d this year for first time since 2014 as I wanted to do some bodywork and start to use it again.
She's now roadworthy having bought some old cheese grater alloys from a bloke in Daventry. After a refurb they are passable, and replaced the Cross spoke wheels I changed over to, regrettably in about 2007, and gave away the original set of cheese graters.
Enough waffle. Any ideas on the hose. Please see enclosed pic of Haynes manual.
