Austin maestro L/H solid caliper

Hi does anyone where I can get a Austin maestro L/H solid brake caliper mine to is stuck on can't even get the brakes off

Hi it's not the caliper the brake pads keep falling out of the brake carrier brackets has anybody got carrier brackets for solid brakes?

You can get the pistons and seals if you can get the old one apart.
I think they moved the calipers from trailing edge to leading at some point, so be careful as they swapped side to.

what??? have you got solid disks on a car meant for vented?

It had solid calipers and solid discs when I bought it so dont know what has gone on there

Vented will not fit my car it has solid calipers and solid discs but the breakdown that come out today said the pad is falling from the carrier bracket?

Every time the pad wears down the pad on the outer falls out so the one who looked at it said the carrier bracket is not holding the pads?

I think what has happened is someone has fitted the thinner solid disks and thus created a big gap for the pad to fall out of when it gets thin.
