Alloy Wheels

Recently I came across 3 13" MG Metro x-spoke alloys in the local scrapyard. As I have 13" steel wheels on my 1.6 Maestro, would these wheels be a straight swap for mine (assuming i can find the fourth wheel). Are tyres available with a wall thickness that would enable the speedo to read correctly.
I have no PAS so would the steering become even heavier?

if your going to swap 13 inch for 13 inch , the speedo reading will remain the same ,
wider tyres as a rule makes the steering heavier at parking speeds.
but saying that so will a soft tyre , good look finding your 4th wheel

Metro wheels won't fit the Maestro/Montego I am sure...

They wont fit, and they would look really silly too.
