Is anyone selling a courtesy lamp relay, or does anyone know where I could purchase one? I believe the relay was fitted to a Montego Turbo gsi 2.0i

If it's an EEP 170 that you are after then that only fits post Oct 1988-1995 Montegos, and you can't fit that one to any Maestro, officially (although I have and it was quite easy).

Don't think he wants EEP170 - that is the 'lights on buzzer' relay.
There is a separate courtesy lights delay timer relay.

No there isn't, not for that model.

EEP 170 - Lighting alarm and courtesy light delay (black relay type casing).
EEP 171 - Lighting alarm (Black relay type casing).
AJM 1283 - Unit courtesy lamp delay (yellow relay type casing, supersedes GAE 283).

EEP 170 is the only one that appears to be fitted to a "Montego Turbo gsi 2.0i"...

If you have a post Oct 1988 facelift Montego or a K series Rover Metro/100 then you can directly replace your EEP 171 for an EEP 170 to get courtesy lamp delay - plug and play. Earlier Montegos and all Maestros had a different fusebox and were fitted (where the socket was provided, eg in top models) with a separate delay unit, the one with the yellow case made by Pektron. If you plug one of those into your facelift Montego then the lights, and other electrical equipment may go very dim. You won't get a buzz as such, perhaps more of a bang! People tend to think that because the 171 is the higher number, then it has all the functions. This is not so...
You can (or at least could) instead fit an aftermarket dimming unit to go inline with one of the courtesy switches and dangle in the A pillar. I fitted one of these to my Maestro 1.6HL in 1988, with excellent and satisfying results.

I know this is all a bit off topic, but hopefully serves to clarify the situation with anyone else who wants to have a timed fade of their courtesy lights. Also, with a bit of wiring intervention it is possible to put an EEP 170 (fade and buzzer unit, remember) into a Maestro. I have one on my F reg Maestro Mayfair. Did you know that EEP 170 doesn't gradually tail off the interior lights as such, it actually reduces the illumination level in 16 specific steps. Also, if you leave the doors open long enough, it also has a timer that switches the interior lights off altogether after a set period, maybe 20-30 minutes. It's a clever unit!
