Rear door glass removal

Im having trouble getting the rear door glass out of the door. I can see a stip of rubber on the bottom of the glass that is then pushed onto a matal strip but i cannot seem to get the glass out. Iv tried using soap but it still wont budge. Is there something im missing?

The Chanel nearest the back of the car is screwed to the door at the bottom I think it's an 8mm bolt that needs to be undone if that makes sense then that metal bar can be completely removed

Metal strips come out attached to the glass usually. You don't want to have to disturb that unless you really have to.

rear door glass

leave the glass and rubber in the metal strip as i had one rust and would not stay in the strip when winding the window back down again
