montego drivers door removal

ok boys you may have done this a lot more than i ever have so....
whats the best way to remove the drivers door please.

if its like the maestro.its 4 bolts on the bottom hinge and knock the pin out of the top hinge.you need some one to hold the door

Or if it's like the passenger side I just put a trolley jack under the door to take the weight, pulled some trim back in the footwell and undid the 4 bolts while steadying the door with one hand and removed the door complete with hinges

Obviously if you have central locking/electric windows or mirrors you'll need to remove the trim and take the wiring out. I can't remember if there a single connector you can undo or if you have to pull the wiring out of the door as it's 20+years since I last did this.
