    Thanks for the tip. I'll compare them and see if I can spot the difference.

    Or perhaps I'll turn the radio off (it's got a hi-tec cassette player too, you know!) and just enjoy the sound of that awesome 1.6 Rover engine throbbing away under the bonnet!

    If you use these NGK plugs do you go for the standard gap, or something bigger? I've got the original Austin Rover coil still on there.

      I generally use the standard gap. The exception being in my 1.8T K series which doesn't run well on standard gap. (I can't remember which way they need to go though!).

      Also it is usually best to avoid the bosch super 4 plugs as they tend to shield the spark too much on the turbo versions at least.
