  • Replacement Wheels

I've got a Montego Countryman with the MG pattern alloy wheels, The tyres need inflating weekly so I assume the alloy is becoming porous. I've seen MGF wheels on Montegos, are these a straight swop? Are there any other later Rover alloy wheels that will fit?

The tyres will just need taking off and the rims wire brushing and cleaning. If you want to go for a more modern look that is fine but you could easily and cheaply sort out the leaks.

Thanks both for your replies. Being indecisive, I think I'll get some MGF wheels to put on whilst I'm wire brushing the old ones!!

I have a set of MGF ones. They are the ones fitted to the rare ABINGDON model. Nearly new tyres, 700 mile or so. alloys are good, no majour curbs but there are marks on them.

                Wheels

Stephen, how much are you after for your wheels and tyres, they'd have to be sent by courier or Parcelforce as I'm down in Hampshire.
Dale, your Countryman looks excellent and the wheels really set it off.
David, I'll send some pics of my Countryman to you by e-mail tomorrow as I can't find a a way of displaying them on the website.(I'm sure someone will correct me there!!).
                Cheers all.

                  Album

Ah ha, before anyone answers my last post I've found a thing called album in the Members Profile, however, I can't fathom out how it works. So, anyone care to point out what is probably the blatantly obvious? Thanks.

You could join photobucket or any other picture sharing sites on the net (just google picture sharing) Most of the sites are self explanatory and you can copy the link from the uploaded picture onto any site/forum.

It just needs a steering wheel change,as it look like it lost its colour!

                              It is.

Looks like you could do with an original grey one for that car.

An otherwise Mint car like that with the wrong colour S/wheel just looks wrong to me.

                              Mal.
