hi guys,my front seats are a little tired and wondered about an easy swap,with any mods to enable them to fit kept to a minimum,member oli in bristol has his maesty for sale and mentions rover 800 seats,are these good to fit,thanks richard

Rover 200 & 400 R8 shape leather & half leather are about the easiest as you unbolt the back of the seat base remove the fabric and padding. Get your hands on some rover 100 seat bases go to the scappy remove the seat back and padding so you only pay for what you need. Then recover the R 100 base with the 200/ 400 pading and material bolt the seat back on and and there you have it I have done this many a time mainly with 214 / 414 sei seats sounds a bit of a faf but realy easy to do. A lot easier than buturing your car or welding runners to your seats etc.
