If you go to one of the shows, autojumbles you can buy top quality headlining material for between £6 - £10 metre. You need 64ins x 48ins to do a Monty so prob less to do a Maisty.
So 2 metres MAX of the roll which is usually wider than 48 ins.
With a tub of glue you are looking at no more than £30 to DIY ...not £60!
Even online - say at Woolies - you can get Dove Grey headlining at £12.40 metre including VAT.
not that long ago they had this on offer at £6 a metre!

No, it doesn't have to cost a lot if you DIY. And best to get the sandwich type ie: with a linen backing on the foam, 'don't' get the bare foam backed stuff.

The PVC headlining was whitish, although that on early MG1600's was a dark grey colour. Later fabric headlinings were either cool grey for blue/grey trim cars, or warm beige for beige/brown trim cars. MG's also had a darker grey fabric headlining for a while.M&MOC Committee Member - Archivist

this one is good its a little bit light but otherwise ok. make sure you use the right glue thoughi didnt and i fell off in the heat. I have brought the right glue from him now just got to get a round to doing it again
