D129OOE is probably one of the most famous and most campaigned MG Maestro rally cars. In brief, it served as the works entered car for Tony Pony and was used as a 'celebrity' car during the 1986 Challenge hosting Damon Hill, Malcolm Wilson, Tiff Needell. It contested 6 RAC rallies, the Middle East Rally Championship and over a hundred events through Europe. Still carrying its works colours of red, white and blue, D129OOE is still alive and currently having a new bodyshell and total rebuilt.
