Austin & Morris Day - Sunday 8th March

While there isn't an official club stand at this event, Maestros and Montegos park together and I will bring the club's flags to make the Maestro & Montego area easier to find. I will also try to get there earlyish, hopefully before most people.

I'm hoping to bring two cars, the second depends on persuading my other half to bring one for me.

Free Maestro Beer Mat

It should be. I'm hopeful of a good number of Maestros and Montegos, although I think we're quite Maestro top heavy.

17 Maestros & Montegos! Great turn out :-)

Maestro & Montego owners excelled themselves today, with a total of 17! Thanks to Jeff for counting and photographing each and everyone before he left. I think I managed to get a beer mat to every Maestro & Montego owner, bar Richard Bremner and his Vanden Plas, but I will catch up with him later this month.

We had 4 Montegos and 13 Maestros, 3 of which were vans. The Maestro diversity was amazing, base spec early cars, to modified cars, to an LPG converted one and even a Turbo. All colours too! We had a great parking spot for all the Montegos and three of the Maestros. Good job I only read the notice when we were leaving that said 'pre 1986 vehicles only' just where we were parked!

The mission for next year is to get all the Maestros and Montegos parked together.
