    can anybody tell me if you can get new bushes and joints for the mg montego turbo gear linkage because mine is very sloppy

    Can't you get a generic one? I assume quite common on size

      I haven't tried them, but Freelander with PG1 box should be very similar? or Rover 200 etc etc are definately the same... Rimmers seem to have the original ones anyway https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-BNP9024. https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-BNP9020. https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-BNP2673 https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-BNP9016 don't have the ball pivot any more https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-BNP9018L but do have the spacer for it https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-BNP9021L the universal joint at gearbox end is part of the rod, but can be cut off and replaced with a steering shaft uj if need be..
