Regarding the front grill badge, I'm fairly sire they are NLA. I bought a new one a few years ago when one of the parts suppliers were selling them off....

The problem is I that I don't think it's at a garage but in stock at X-Part themselves. Hinckley in Leicestershire?

I'm good with the flaring it's putting a bead in the pipe that is stumping me. The bead being the bulge in a pipe that stops a rubber pipe sliding off when attached with a jubilee clip or similar. Flaring tools are cheap, as your link suggests, it's the beading ones that aren't.

Maestro Turbo metal fuel pipes.
Hi all. I intend to replace all of the metal fuel pipe under the bonnet, so it's mainly the pipework going between swirl pot, pressure regulator and the carb. I have a few questions.

I can only begin to imagine how hard that was to find! Fingers crossed no other wires in the loom have suffered the same fate.
It'll be worth the pain in the end when she's up and running once more.

I'm only going from memory, and mine is pretty bad, but is there not a mixture and idle setting for on and off choke? Do you know for sure it's the idle speed and not the mixture? Can you keep the engine running using the throttle once the choke is off and if so (if you have a rev counter) what's the...

When these cars run out of petrol they end up sucking loads of crap up from the bottom of the tank and then blockages can occur. That along with the fact that it didn't like being low on fuel before won't help. I wonder what state the fuel pickup is in inside the tank, possibly corroded and therefore...

Unfortunately I think that's called sods law, the shiniest car getting scratched. Fingers cressed it'll get fixed for a reasonable cost.

It's good to see another person happy with their Turbo. I hope that the pain was worth it, which I'm sure it was!

S-series parts
I'm clearing out my stock of old parts. I have quite a few from my old S-series engine that was replaced with a T-series, so all the parts were working when removed.
I have a collection of pipes:
