MG Nut, since I have known you I have always felt your car life has contained more intrigues and climatic outcomes than a soap opera. Yet you have always remained faithful to the cause.

I think you have made the right decision, personally, as No. 405 is a stunner!

Would you like to display it at a well known classic car show near Exeter in July as a worthy entrant to the Modern Classics theme? If so, I will email you an entry form and further details.

Glad you saw sense lol. There must be less than a dozen left in such clean and original condition.

          Hi Brian

Just a quick message to say we have a trip planned on Thursday to West Buckland, (TA21), so not far from you. If you change your mind about selling let me know and I can pick two cars up.

          Kind regards

I know I'm going to get slated for this because this forum does seem a tad anti dealer but in my opinion if the seller had agreed a price with the buyer then the deal should've gone ahead. if for any reason the seller gave back word then to be fair to the original buyer he should have first refusal should the car ever come up for sale. If I had agreed a price to buy something and the seller then gave back word to me and sold to someone else I'd be a tad unhappy. That's my view!

I don't blame KGF for trying, getting stock like that must be near impossible!

As the owner, or previous owner now, Brian can choose who he sells this very special car to. This thread makes fascinating reading and I hope many will enjoy it and marvel at the trials and tribulations of classic car buying!

Absolutely he can, I just don't think it's fair to agree to sell it to someone and then sell it to someone else that's all. I don't know you, I don't know the seller and I don't know the full story, only what I've read on here. It's just my opinion that's all!
