Hi Brian, I recall you mentioning this a few weeks ago to me in an email. Bearing in mind its condition, the genuine low mileage and the fact you are only the second owner, I would think a value of somewhere around £4,250 to be realistic. Possibly slightly more based on interest. The other thing that also appeals about your car is that it is an original example which has not been modified. That on its own is a rarity these days!

However, I am more than happy to be challenged by others if they feel the suggested valuation I have made for No. 405 seems inaccurate.

In tandem with Jeff Turbo, I, too, am sorry to hear you are in a position whereby you are looking to sell No. 405 as it really is a nice example and we were delighted to have it on show at Powderham last year as part of the Modern Classics display. Hopefully you can come up with a solution whereby you can keep No. 405 and the MG ZS which, incidentally, will probably look rather nice parked to it as it is finished in the same colour.

Let me know if you need me to come round and knock a large hole in the outer wall of the spare bedroom, so that you can get No. 405 in :-)

No. 405 is looking even more stunning than when I last saw it back in August on show in Exmouth.

Those images make me realise how hard it is for you to have to put it up for sale. I genuinely feel very sorry that you have had to make this decision. I wish I was fortunate enough to own a large storage unit or even a barn (they have all been converted into dwellings where I live) as I would happily offer to store it for you.

Good luck with the sale and I really do hope it will go to someone who is just as fastidious as you are.

                      Wow!

I know it's not helpful for people to say (as I am about to) "If I had the money...." etc.

But, that is an amazing car (my favourite colour for a Turbo as well)
Maybe I should do the lottery this week, after all you never know...!

Hopefully someone on here wants an immaculate Turbo and has the money, so it can continue to be cared for as you have, and it stays within the 'community' of enthusiasts!

                      Andrew
