Electric mirrors all work correctly, mirrors are removed but I have checked they work all ok.

Dash has 4 small cracks, not the best so would say not worth having.

In addition to my previous wants...Do you think the windscreen is ok? I have the gear to remove it.

Also, looking at the drivers & passenger side door pockets?

        When could I come up?

        Ian
Windscreen actually looks good, no milkyness and no obvious chips etc. No marks from the wipers that I can see.

Door pockets might be going onto 381 but I need to check it over first.

          Hi Lee.

Cheers for the update. I have sent you a PM about a visit.

Will take the wiper mechanism, a 5.5J alloy wheel, windscreen.

Can I take a look at the seats? I only need some fabric to repair some damage on mine

          Ian

No probs mate, I'll keep the car here for a couple of days. Your welcome to the fabric.

Have checked it over, one corner has damage but it still there hanging. Not sure if that's OK, personally I'd glue the bugger back up with a cardboard brace behind it.

Front corner crack/break is "normal" (Ask Jeff)

Even ones that are being removed for the first time without issue have evidence of a previous break.
Theory is, that they tend to get damaged during initial fitment, but it's rarely noticed until we come to take them out.

Thanks (and to Mal for his reassuring words, too) - looks great to me! I've sent you a PM about coming over to get it.

This is a rear right corner break. Something to do with a bumper being shoved in the car by a person helping to load it all up when I collected it.

Thanks to Carfix and BenF the car has been stripped and picked clean of any good stuff.

The car is on its very last journey to the crusher first thing tomorrow morning.

I plan to do the same deal on another maestro I've got my eyes on, possibley even the montego turbo conversion when it's time comes.

                          Hi Lee.

Many thanks for the help and cups of tea during the last two days

                          You're a star.

And thanks from me, too. Great to meet you both and the tea and (headlining) biscuit are very much appreciated.

The image of Ian continually returning to the stripped out hulk in search of ANYTHING that he might have missed is still making me chuckle. I just hope the scrappy has a decent weigh-in price for rust!

Cheers for checking out the dash. I started my restoration today and I'm sure my dash has deterioated over the past few months, so if you do come across a decent one please bear me in mind.

I will Ian, I'm stripping another montego soon before I look at any other maestro projects.
