Hi Painter. Are you looking for standard or oversize pistons? I've got a standard set taken out of my turbo which would do as a stopgap - the ring lands are not ideal, but are still useable
Also, if you get offered more (as I was) there are some people out there who think they have turbo pistons, but they are actually out of another O-series engine. The clincher is the split rings retaining the gudgeon pin - no other O-series engine has these. (It's caveat emptor and all that!)

Hi, Just taken pic below. As you can see they will need the crowns cleaning, and I can only find two of the split rings at the mo' - the others have gone walk-about, but they are around somewhere! Let me know what you think!

Your engine must be running lean for a piston to melt. Make sure this is sorted fot it not to happen again. Is the turbo boost turned up?

It was down to a faulty injector I believe, i am running these pistons in a t series block.

Was it number 3 piston melting by any chance?

And what boost were you running?

No it was number 1 piston and was running 12psi at the time.
