  • [WANTED] Rover Montego Rear Axle (second hand)

I need a second hand rear axle for my montego saloon 2.0i, because sometime ago, I had to drill out a shock absorber screw. I then could not screw back a normal shock absorber screw threading into the axle, so I had to use a tension bolt through the shock absorber. 50,000 miles later, it has now worn away a little part of the axle, so I am looking for a new axle.

If anyone is breaking an old montego - I presume all axles are the same for all montego models within a reasonable distance of North Hampshire - I would be pleased if you could reply.

Does anyone know if a Maestro rear axle is the same as a Montego rear axle?

    Thanks.

Rear axles (H Frame) are common to both Maestro and Montego saloons
