SAME CABLE?

HI all, get ready for the sunshine (does not apply to Scotland). Is clutch cable the same for 2L cars AND vans eg part no. GVC5027, the one with the domed head.

I thought you got all of the sun up there All of the diesel clutch cables are the same (apart from the very early ones which had a different fitting on the gearbox end) , GVC5027, replaced by GVC5067, the unipart catalogue says GVC7067 for the diesels, so all three of those numbers should be interchangeable. The petrol ones have different part numbers, but I'd be surprised if you couldn't make them fit if you were stuck, when my van one failed I just stuck the first one I found on, I may have been lucky & got a diesel one.......

I have fitted a petrol cable to a diesel, in my case the only difference was where the rubber mounts where glued on.
