[Wanted] Austin/Rover Montego (Automatic)

Hi everyone, looking to purchase my first Montego in the Spring/Summer. Has to be an automatic, I'm open to either a saloon or a countryman. Open to a project as well as long as it isn't a complete shed and has a good chance of becoming road worthy again. Not too bothered whether it's a 1.6 or 2.0. So if anyone has a Montego they are looking to part ways with come Spring/Summer, feel free to message me or comment on the post.

I can't help with a car, but something you might want to bear in mind when deciding between 1.6 and 2.0 is that the 1.6 is fitted with a VW 3 speed gearbox (same as Golf) which gives 20mph per 1000rpm in top gear, whereas the 2.0 is fitted with a ZF 4 speed (same as various Peugeots etc) which gives 24mph per 1000 rpm in top. It won't make much difference for short journeys, but if yo intend to use it on long Motorway journeys the 2.0 will probably be more suitable.
