Is it leaking at the joint with the metal pipes?

They don't normally leak except at the joint

Seems to be slight weep from where the pipe goes into the matrix

You only need a gasket for that. You'll need to remove the pipes from under the dash, pipes connect in the bulkhead and run through to the matrix. You'll need an Allen key to separate and get the metal pipes out. It's the same gasket as a rover sd1 or make your own. Later models used 2 O rings but they perish and rust the pipe where it meets the matrix. Not a big job, just awkward
