Car for sale!!

Hi everyone. Now I'm not a Montego owner but my parents have a Montego 1.6hl D plate with between 50k to 60k which they want to sell. It has no MOT. Was just wondering if anyone could give me advice on where to best sell it. They want it to go to a good home, even if it's only for spares. They've had it since new and they have enjoyed having it. Any feed back would be great.

hi depends on what condition the car is in (rust wise) any dents, is there anything wrong with the car. the place i would sell a car like that would be on this website.

I would suggest you get a couple of photographs of the car - they always help a sale, plus a detailed description of its condition (wear and tear, rust, etc).

You can place an advertisment in the Owners Club classifieds as well as on this discussion forum.

Well I can get some pic's done, but in the mean time.
General body ain't to bad, rust wise, the car has always been garaged.
Wind screen has a crack in it. Head lining has gone!!!
Engine not in bad nick, has always passed the MOT up till now.
Hasn't been put in for an MOT this time, my Dad can't drive anymore due to having a stroke, other wise he would keep it. Don't think they really want a great deal for it, just as long as it's put to good use.
The car is in Harlow, Essex. Will try and get some pic's done ASAP.

PS It's Cashmere Gold, but the laqurer is shot in places.

It looks to be in quite fair condition. It would be nice to have a Gold HL complement my Silver HL, but alas, no room at the inn!
