Two potential days out to look forward to coming up next weekend:
Saturday 28th MGOC racing series visits Thruxton (near Andover in Hampshire) and includes Maestro racing and even Trucks as mentioned elsewhere. Maria no doubt has the full details.
Sunday 29th Bromley Pageant of Motoring! Probably the UK's biggest classic car show. We can't yet exhibit our Maestros and Montegos because of the usual red tape over year of manufacture (I have the scissors ready for next year) but most of us have a wider interest in the world of classic cars and there's always plenty to see here - it really is a major event. In addition, the Autojumble's excellent and had quite a few 1980s Austin Rover bits and pieces last time.
I'll be going along to both if the weather's reasonable. Anyone else?
