hello all picked this buet up last week my plan is to restore it as ive always loved these cars so i thought id best keep it on the road

the only bits that i could move forward with at the moment without getting any panels were the inner wings and a bit of the front end, but left a section of the subframe because that needs platting up . il add more photos as i go

i will use my good camera next time lol i cant take a good pic on these iphones

Blimey ,that's some rust in those doors ,and sills!!!

Good to see a black turbo being restored,im led to believe this is the rare ist one ,with only 49 made (im sure a maestro expert will put me right there!!)

I wish i had restored the black monty turbo i had ,years ago,cos black looks so good ,when its clean!!!

        Good luck,and keep us updated!!

done a few more jobs on the mg

                  and replaced the nearside arch

that's it for another day, still waiting on my off side quarter panel and then i need to start sourcing a donor car for the other bits
