Don't worry about the VOSA inspection too much, when I took my Monty they only did a cursory check to make sure the chassis no matched their records. The tester was more interested in the car!

Collected the car yesterday.

Every car gets moved on the forks, however I was selective about which driver I gave my release paperwork too!!

I think I may now have all the parts to repair the car , so will look at trying to MOT it next weekend if I can get the jobs sorted over a few evenings next week.

No damage seen from my first look, my turbo got damaged by forks because they went across the car..

I was staring at the driver as he came out of the yard. He took it steady.

I felt sorry for a polish lorry driver who's 2 cars almost bounced off the forks as the driver was going so fast. Then the cars got side loaded into an artic...

Blimey that is enough to put anyone off. Just because it is a salvage yard folk have bought the cars so you would think they would have some consideration & respect!

Glad to see this example has been saved and I look forward to reading updates on how the rejuvenation plans are progressing. One question - are you going to keep the non-standard colour-coded rear spoiler and strakes on it, or will you change them for the regular black items?

Currently I'm going to keep the tailgate exactly as it is. If I come across the correct items I might swap them over but just getting it up to an acceptable standard for POL is my priority.
