Advise him to buy a Disclock!

Doesn't ever stop does it. Appalling. But a lot of the time, it could be prevented with the purchase of something simple and cheap like a Disclok.

Not as easy as that chaps.
He's not well and has been very ill and has also had to move.
I won't go through the whole story and Its a bit difficult to put into words but he doesn't want to see the car anymore as he feels that bad about what's happened.
Depending on what damage has been done the car will either be written off or sold once any repairs have been done.
He's in a bad way at the moment but I'm seeing him sunday after the NEC to find out more

Very sorry to read such a story & I'm sure the car scenario isn't helping with his other problems. I wish him very well & hope he gets better very soon.

Shame. I fully understand how he feels. Bit like when we got burgled. I didn't even want to live in the same house any more. You feel compromised.

Even so, if the car can be saved then it would be an absolute sin for it to be written off and crushed.

Very sad that this car has now been written off. The owners a bit cut up about it as it had a buy it back deal on the car but he never saw it again.
All of his possesions were still in the car so all of those got lost.
On a brighter note I did help him get the full value back on it of the agreed valuation and with the money now paid he bought an MGZT cdti

So where did the car end up/vanish to? How can the insurance company lose it when - A - it has the buy back & - B - The owners possessions are in it?
Surely the owner has a further claim there? Bloody pen pushers, all they have in their heads are £ signs.

Because of his condition he didn't want to see the car again so in his mind he had already said goodbye to it.
I had already informed about an additional claim and that was also sorted.
When I went to see him he was impressed with my MGZT so that's why he bought one and picked it up friday.
