As some will know I was fortunate to acquire Jeff Pattersons C plate MG Montego last month. The trials and tribulations Jeff has had with the car this year can be found here.

I had the car recovered from Jeffs home in Lincoln to my local garage who have looked after my Maestro Vp and more lately my Monty Mayfair.
I had hoped that it would be a quick fix but it was found that two of the engines cylinders had very low compression. Fortunately I have a couple of spare engines and the best of the bunch was selected and dropped into the car. I am pleased to say the car is once more up and running and very much alive!.
The car will be stored over winter with the aim of sorting a couple issues with the body next year and to have the car ready for shows next summer.
Will try to get some up to date pics over the weekend.
