You can rotate the photos on your iPhone directly from the Photos app. On a Mac, you can rotate them in Preview with Command+R or Command+L. I'm sure there must be something similar in Windows 7 or 8 but as I've never used a Windows computer more recent than Win XP I can't be specific.
