A bit of an enigmatic reply.

Does this mean the Spares Service isn't part of the club anymore?

Don't know if I've missed it but was there ever a definitive list of the club spares still available?

All of the clubs spares have been sold to John.
Once john has catalogued everything etc i'm sure he will post up and let all know.

don't think many people used spares service, i didn't even know we had one until last year!
we are only small club, so am guessing most of the spares have been sitting around for years with no interest.

plus the added problem of storage, the spares took a lot of room up. at least this way theirs a list of parts going to be made available and then available to us

I used it as a member and when not a member .I think the main issuse was it was not an up todate catalouge of what was avalable in recent years apart from the space taken up by panels.

Takes a lot of work sorting, listing the spares in your own time without any payment.
With added storage loss it was deemed right to sell all in a job lot so no added expense to the club.
Rather impossible to find free storage these days.
A price was agreed with John and he will now be the spares service once he's up and running.
