Can you disclose the price in the members section?

the ongoing cost to store the spares would have ended up costing more than they were worth. The club effectively uses John as its spare parts provider now.

it should work out better all round, as its in Johns interest to sell the parts to members.

If I remember rightly the club also made a profit on the parts too....

I think the days of us storing masses of parts that people want at giveaway prices is over. in an ideal world we now need to start focussing parts provision in terms of having parts re manufactured - stuff like anti roll bar links

          Dan,

I've seen you've made some good efforts on that front, its good to see, maybe the club should try and work with you on it, maybe there could be a way the club could fund some of the bulk purchase?

I suppose it doesn't need to be a committee position, just some club support, certainly I think this would be a better way of providing spares - why try to duplicate ebay - its the stuff that's hard to get that people want and will pay for - we cant have stuff that just doesn't turnover.

Well if I'm struggling for numbers for group buys etc then that may be a very good idea.

I'm thinking ARB's and possibly filler pockets next.

I'll certainly enquire about that next with the guy who is doing the heater pipes once he has finished that.
