  • Rear strut yellow bushes/Mount

    Hi all,

I am looking for a couple of the big yellow bushes that sit on top of the rear spring seat and below the wheel arch on the rear of the maestro. I have read that late model rover parts are the same (part number EFP7579). I just wanted to see if this is the right part to fit as they look far too small.

Looking at my EPC and at the Rimmers site, the setup on a Rover 200, that uses the EFP7579 item, looks totally different. The EPC shows a Spring Seat upper (sitting directly ontop of the spring seat itself) as NAM3957 or the Mounting Rubber upper - large as NAM1181 and small as NAM1180. BTW the small one is yellow, if thats any help! Rimmers have the first and last of these, not the large mounting rubber. That one seems to be NLA anywhere.

Just Googled the part number and AE Wilcox came up as having two in stock. Try phoning them on 01454 294213. John Wilcox is a great source of help and if they are in stock, he's normally very good with delivery. Best of luck!!

or alternatively try a PM to Maria as the club had some in stock a few years ago.
