  • TET Maestro

Ok, this is quite odd. We know of Ledbury Maestro's and a little about the Apple 2000 ones...

But what is a 'TET' Maestro? It looks like a Ledbury (as opposed to the Apple 2000 with LHD wipers) yet doesn't have the usual Ledbury registration ('VJ, 'CJ etc)...

Also the bonnet looks a bit rusty underneath for a 4 year old car!

The seller has mentioned its waxoyl...

TET I believe stands for Trans European Trading the company that built the Ledbury Maestros.

I emailed the seller earlier to let them know that if they put ledbury in there somewhere it might make their auction more appealing.

As far as I know - Trans European Trading, and Parkway Services are one and the same, or closely linked...

The marks under the bonnet are Waxoil. A sure sign the car has been well cared for.

Yup the company is known as Trans European Trading and work out of Parkway Service Station (possibly not their only outlet?).

And the cars are known as 'Ledburys' because that is the town/city they were sold in, from a garage called Parkway Service Station in Ledbury which is an outlet for Trans European Trading and so on and so on

          Ledbury?

The registration of this car has been bugging me all afternoon. I've just found out that the 'HH' reg code states it is a Carlisle registration...

          Answers on a postcard please.

Yes I did and I hope you listened.

I reckon the Ledbury will reach about a bag of sand. (£1k)

If I didn't have to have a huge MoFo of a people-carrier, just so that once every Preston Guild we can take ourselves and one set of grandparents out for a ride somewhere, I'd have that in a shot
