  • Whats it worth? Tandy campervan

I've been approached by an old contact/member who would like to sell their Tandy Campervan.

It has a pop-top and opening side window
    It is located in Bournemouth
85,000 miles (have enquired which engine it has)
    Most service history present
    Current owner for 16 years
One of probably less than a dozen tandy campervans left.

Has been stood for a year unused so will need some work to bring back into service.
Numerous areas of rust visble but not unusual for its age (F reg)

Would make a great restoration project - and make a good usable day/weekend van (I've had one myself!).

What is it worth? If anyone is seriously interested then let me know and I'll send some photos over and put you in touch with the owner.

Oooo, that looks ruff ha. When I was showing my maestro and Beamish last day in September a couple approached me with there ipad and showed me pictures of the restoration they where doing on there Tandy camper. It looked really nice. They were asking me if I new where they could find any more information on them. I didn't but told them to ask on here and said people would be interested in reading about the restoration if they joined and made a thread on here but I haven't seen one yet. Would be nice to see if they are reading.

I would be interested in this, and it's relatively local to me.

Mine went about a year ago for £575 ish. It hadn't been on the road for a few years and needed some welding. It was the 1.6 Petrol.
I had done some things to it, like car wheels and brakes, rover seats, new-ish doors.
I would have thought that the one you have there is around £1000 if it has an MOT?
Best bet is always eBay, it will then fetch what it's worth.

            Cheers,

            Ian

I've not heard of it being sold (but it isn't mine!). If you'd like me to send more photos or put you in contact with the owner then drop me a message with an e-mail address in it.
