  • Dash light bulbs

Hello, when I turn on the lights, the dash lights up but not very bright. Is this normal?
If I need to replace the bulbs is it easy to do? Also, what type of bulbs do I need?

Do you have a dimmer on it? That's on the bottom right of the dash

        A dimmer? I don't think so. I will go take a look.

          No dimmer switch.

PS I do not know how to upload the full size photo.

From what I remember of the instrument packs, they have several bulbs at the back to provide light behind the instruments and there is also a 'floodlight' strip at the top of the binnacle with a bulb at each end to light up the whole front of it.
Replacement will involve removing the instrument pack unless you are really good at feeling around with your fingers in confined spaces (hand up through the fusebox aperture and then locate the relevant bulbs).
The 'floodlight' bulbs can only be accessed from the front of the pack.

There is some information towards the back of the original driver's handbook (if you have one). The bulb part number was ADU6262 and it is a bayonet fitting.
