Don't no whether any one else has had any problems but I cant open the above images on both my home and work computer. Would be interested to read them. Old thread they have been posted in lol. Someone approached me at Beamish museum classic car show asking for more information on Tandy campers. Showed me there iPad pictures of the van they restored. I told them to join up on here, don't think they ever did. They would be interested in this.

Tandy Campervans Information Wanted

Not sure why pictures aren't opening, they are just jpegs of a magazine test of Diesel Tandy & a test of a Diesel Phoenix that the company reprinted for promotional purposes, I can open them ok, but that might be connected with me putting them on in the first place
..I picked the old Camper post that seemed to contain the most information and stuck them on it rather than starting a new one, or throwing them into the wasteland of facebook...Shame that Grayham's web site is no longer in existence, I guess it would have some more information...there is a fair bit about the Tandy Maestro on here http://www.world-of-reliant.org.uk/p...7ccc75ea74096b but you'll have to sign up to the Reliant forum to see it..I was tempted in quite easily, as I used to have a Scimitar & a Rialto...would probably have a Kitten, Rebel or Fox, but they are rather expensive now! There is a lot of information in some of the old threads on the forums, I found a few things out about my Tandy just by looking about on here, I bought Grayham's one and am just sorting out what bits & pieces I need for it before getting it onto the operating table
.. Information on the campers is not that easy to come by, even simple things like "is the gas cylinder supposed to be in the compartment behind the drivers seat?" The article answered that one, looks like Tandy put it in a cupboard inside....not sure if it was illegal then, but it is now, unless I haven't noticed the seals and vents...the leisure battery behind the passenger seat doesn't strike me as a particularly good plan either...I think I'll be making a spare wheel carrier for the back door pillar & putting the potential bombs where the spare wheel is at the minute. Were the people at Beamish from the North East or just visiting? I'll stick the pictures on failbook anyway, so as long as you are on there you'll be able to get hold of them.....
